Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Stay
 

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking of any accommodation displayed on our site.
 

We will do our best to ensure that all information provided on our site is accurate; however, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of all information nor are we able to guarantee that the site is free of errors or faults.  We reserve the right to change the information displayed on our site (including these terms and conditions) at any time without notice to you.
 

Loss of or Damage to Property
 

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to property owned by guests.  Guests are welcome to park in our car park at their own risk. Any damage to motor vehicles, including push bikes, is not the responsibility of Riverbank Park Motel.
 

Door keys returned bent, broken or the loss of a door key will incur a $35 replacement fee.
 

Costs may be incurred to replace plates, cups and glasses that have been broken and damage to towels such as but not limited to deposits of oil, grease, fake tan and make-up which cannot be laundered clean will incur a replacement fee.  If you do require older towels, please let us know as we have these in stock for you to use which will not incur any replacement fee.
 

Stains on carpet due to spillage of food and drinks that cannot be cleaned out with our carpet cleaner will incur a professional carpet cleaning fee.  These rates may vary depending on the stain and accessibility to a professional carpet cleaner, the costs will be passed on to the guest through the provided credit card. Any loss of room bookings may also be charged.
 

Pool towels are available at reception and must be returned to reception after use.  Loss of towels will incur a $30 replacement fee per towel.
 

Cancellation Policy
 

Cancellations before 7 days of arrival will be fully refunded. Cancellation within 7 days of arrival will attract a cancellation fee, which is equal to the full tariff.
 

During Peak Periods of Easter, Christmas/New Year and all Special Events in Bright, cancellation within 30 days of arrival will attract a cancellation fee, which is equal to the full tariff.
 

If you are unable to make your booking due to illness, your reservation can be converted into the name of a friend or family member for the same dates.
 

Cooking
 

We have provided a toaster in each room and most rooms have microwaves. Apart from the use of these items there is to be no cooking in the rooms this includes and is not limited to the use of rice cookers, crock pots or other devices including gas burners.
 

We have BBQs for our guests to use in our back garden, these are free to use.  Please ask reception for a BBQ utensil kit if required.  We ask that you clean the BBQ after each use ready for the next guest.
 

Number of Guests
 

This is not to exceed the number of guests booked unless prior approval has been arranged with management. The maximum number of guests in any room must not exceed the maximum bedding configuration, this being 2 people per queen bed and 1 person per single bed. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional tariff. Any person exceeding the maximum occupancy of a room will be considered trespassers and will be evicted.
 

Late Check out
 

Late check out is only accepted with prior arrangement with management.  Any guest who is not checked out of their room by 10am will incur a late fee, which is equal to one (1) night tariff. 
 

Pets
 

We are a pet friendly motel and have allocated rooms available so our fur-companion can join in on the holiday. All pets must be declared prior to booking, any pets that are not declared will be asked to leave along with their owners.  Please see our Pet Policy for more information.
 

By staying with us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions.


Pet Friendly Policy
 

We love having our dog with us when we go away and have opened up some of our motel rooms for other families to also bring their fur-companion. We ask that they are socialised and trained so that you and your pet can meet and greet other visiting guests in a comfortable and safe space for all.


There are a few things that we will require for your fur-companion to stay at our motel:

 

  • There will be a $20 per night charge for your fur companion, this helps to cover the basic cleaning required for after their stay.

  • Your fur-companion must weigh less than 20kg, this is to ensure that they are not too large for our rooms.  We also ask that there is only 1 x fur-companion per room.

  • Credit card details will be asked for on arrival as a deep clean charge of $120 may be required to help keep the room allergen-free for non-pet-friendly guests.  This will be discussed with you on arrival as it depends on breed and condition the room is left in.

  • Anytime your fur-companion is in a public area on the motel grounds, we ask that they be on leash. They are welcome to join you at our outside tables, BBQ area and pool area.

  • At no time should you leave your fur-companion unaccompanied in the room.  We are super strict about this part of our policy.

  • For the enjoyment of all guests, furry or not, our Volume-Control policy applies:

    • 1 Complaint = 1 

    • Warning; 2 Complaints = Farewell :(

  • Any dogs that are declared dangerous dogs and or restricted breed dogs are not to be brought onto the premises.
